Welcome back to the fourth quarter! It’s hard to believe that we are already at our last quarter of second grade. We have so much that we are going to do before the school year ends.
In science, we have been working on force and motion. We have been exploring pushes, pulls, friction, gravity, simple machines such as levers, ramps and fulcrums, and starting today-magnets! The unit test is a big one-I plan on doing a “practice test” in class with the students to review and then send home as a study guide. We have had a LOT of fun with the force and motion experiments.
As a friendly reminder, we have several dates coming up for our First Communion.
- We have Jesus Day on Saturday, April 14th from 8:30-12:30 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- We have a First Communion practice on Friday, April 27th at 6:30 here at Saint Joseph’s Parish.
- First Communion will be held on Saturday, April 28th at Saint Joseph’s Parish. We ask that the students arrive no later than 9:30 am on this day.
