Welcome to our last 4 day week for instruction! It’s hard to believe that we have done so much work remotely in our homes! I know we can power through these next 6 days of learning together; don’t give up on all the hard work you are doing!
Today’s Special is Music. See attached worksheet for drawing the treble clef.
Today’s spirit activity is writing letters, drawing cards, etc. to 8th graders. Soon they will be graduating and heading off to high school! Email or scan your card to firstname.lastname@example.org.

You made it to the end of another week!
Power through these next few lessons and then it’s time to bring on the weekend!
Today’s Special is Art!
Today’s Spirit Activity is “Random Fact Thursday”! Send in your random fact to Mrs. Whiteman!
We have a Google Meet tonight at 6 pm if you are available! The invite to the meet is available by clicking the link sent out in the daily email. Tonight’s theme is craft show! Get a craft that you have made during this time at home and show it off to your classmates!
Watch your classmates’ flipgrids to vote for your favorite! Or, if you forgot to make one, make a flipgrid of your own! I sent out ID numbers in my email on Monday. After you watch, make a vote for who you think should be elected by emailing me. I will announce our winners by our last instructional day.
I hope your week has started off well! Below you will find the videos for today’s lessons. Please note that our special for today is STEM. The videos to watch for the design challenge are here and here. Today’s Spirit activity is Favorite Sports team. Can’t wait to see those awesome photos of your favorite teams!
Happy belated Mother’s Day everyone! I was so thankful to be pampered by not having to cook yesterday; after 2 months of cooking non-stop at home it was a welcomed relief! I hope all your children helped pamper you mommas yesterday too!
One of today’s “can do” activities is to have a mock election! If you decide to run for a position, make sure you decide on which position (President, Vice President, governor, mayor, etc.) and what your platform should be (why people should vote for you). You can record your campaign video on Flipgrid, and then your classmates and I can watch it!
Today’s special is music. The information is attached in your daily sheet.
Today’s Spirit Activity is “Good Reads Day”. Show us a picture of you with one of your favorite books!
