We are excited to be back in school and blessed that we have made it this far into the school year with your children for in class learning!
We are loving our January themes...winter, polar bears, and penguins...oh my! The students listened to the story, "Snowmen at Night" written by Caralyn Buehner. We created snowflakes during our guided activity time and made SNOW! The students sponge painted their very own polar bear to create our January bulletin.
As always, thank you for sharing your child with us. They are all AWESOME kids!
Take a peek of what we have been up to:
3 Year Olds: We spent our week investigating pumpkins. The 3 year olds read the story “The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin” by Joe Troiano. This was a great review to our shapes unit. Why can’t Spookley roll like all the other pumpkins (because he is a square and has straight sides). Just a few of our pumpkin activities were pumpkin patterns and pumpkin hats. In religion we learned how we talk to God through praying! Our friends Harley and Hayley hippo helped us learn, “how do we pray?”. It was a week full of fun!
