Finally learning how to play GAGA!!!
Our 8th graders might not have done a dance for the whole school, BUT we did get a dance in for this year.
7th grade played a game called tit fo tat. THis game has 2 teams facing off against each other in this invasion/territory game. The goal of the game is to get as many points as pssible by having as amany players as possible in the destination zones (mats) in the opposite teams side.
The end of our Jump Rope Unit. Kindergarten and 1st grade ended the united with JUMPING Stations!!!!
Will be learning different line dances to warm up to for P.E. class over the next 4 weeks.
5th is already learning the whip and naenae!!
During our jump rope unit we incorporated hula hoops to show them the different ways to jump and that they can jump rope with one big rope. Kindergarten made one big shape and practiced jumping in and out on two feet.

2nd Graders Begin the Striking Unit!! Pow!! Bam!!
We discussed what striking is and what sports you use this type of movement with.
Then we practiced using balloons
7th grade started class with a plank ball challenge by having to move the ball across the cones while in a plank form
In 3rd grade we did a "Haunted House" themed obstacle course then ended with underhand throwing.
1st grade was so excited to end P.E. with the parachute. WE tried to keep a ball on the parachute by doing big and small waves. Each student also got to run under the parachute which was their favorite part!
Kindergarten we started our throwing unit. We played a game called Grovers Trash can using soft foam balls. The students practiced throwing the balls into the trash can (mats). The student inside the mat had to throw them out.
