We will see how a online pop-up card is made and how the voice over work is done. We’ve spent a few weeks playing around with our voices and have done some of our voice over work in the classroom!
SO Excited for this opportunity!!
Please Join us for
St. Joseph Parish School’s
on December 21, 2018
at 7pm in St. Joseph Church.
All Children should arrive to the church no later then 6:45pm and sit in their designated sections with their teacher. This concert is mandatory as we have spent many hours preparing! Please have them wear dress-up clothes as this is a very special occasion for them and for our school!
The 5th- 8th graders had an amazing time at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! We were able to tour through the museum and then attended a lecture called “The Science of Sound” which was wonderful since it combined information about Science and Music together!
The Second graders accomplished TWO great things this week… First they learned how to sing ” Ghost of John” as a two part ROUND. Second they got to use the BOOMWHACKERS and play it too!!!
Spooky cool class!!
**Every Friday morning we have been singing a song at our schools morning meeting. We practice it in music class during the week and then sing it as a school at the meeting. This has been a really neat experience for them and for me. I have been working with the kids on how to really know what your singing about, what it means to them & how to use songs in a spiritual context. Some of the songs we have sung use themes like FORGIVENESS, TESTIFY TO LOVE, RESPECT & PEACE and this weeks song is called STAND IN THE LIGHT by Jordan Smith. I’m hoping that this one will teach the kids how to embrace what’s AWESOME about them and that even though we are all different we should all respect and love each other for who GOD made us to be!!
